"Writing does get easier. However, starting to write does not."
What he means with this is that the hard part is
getting stated because you don't actually know
much about what you are doing.
But...
After taking action for a certain period or time and
learning by doing, it actually does get easier.
This doesn't only apply to copywriting but
to internet marketing as well.
Overcoming procrastination and starting is the
hard part because you don't know exactly what
you are doing.
The good thing is that once you start learning
about how the business works you'll realize it
isn't complicated as you thought it was.
I know this feeling because it happened to me as well.
When "I got started" I spent months just
learning from courses and I was really motivated
from everything I was learning but guess what?
I wasn't making any money because I
was a consumer instead of a producer.
The difference between successful and
unsuccessful people is not their intelligence,
their skill, their college education or their IQ.
What marks their difference is the amount of action they take.
It doesn't matter how smart or how many
skills you have if you don't take action.
Overcoming procrastination and creating a
habit that will get you to achieve success is
what I personally believe what separates
successful people from unsuccessful people.
This is because success is created on a daily basis.
If you want to change your life then you must
change your daily routine for one that will get
you to where you want to be.
If you want to become successful you need
to get started before you are ready.
This is why the title of this email is: "Ready, Fire! Aim..."
You need to be able to fire before you aim.
If you wait until your "aim" to hit your target
is perfect, you will never hit it.
Why?
Because your "aim" will NEVER be perfect.
You need to be able to "fire" many times
before you actually get to hit the target.
In business this means that you need to take
action consistently and understand that you will
fail many times before you achieve success.
This is the reason why if you wait to learn all the
skills from courses out there before you
take action you will never become successful.
You need to take action right away and learn
the skills in the process.
That's how you get to become successful.
you need to start taking action right away and
producing results.
At least that what I did when starting out and it worked for me.
READY, FIRE! AIM my friend.
The time to change your life is now.
Don't try to cheat on yourself, if you don't get
started right now you'll most likely never will.
Just my 2 cents on this.
Hope you learned a valuable lesson from this long email :)
Talk soon,
Esteban Gomez
