IMPORTANT NOTICE


  1. If you make any false or misleading health and/or travel declaration, you may be prosecuted for an offence(s) under Singapore law, including under the Infectious Diseases Act. If found guilty, you shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding S$10,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both for first offence; or to a fine not exceeding S$20,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both for subsequent offence.

  2. You must declare physical currency and bearer negotiable instruments (CBNI) exceeding SGD 20,000 (or equivalent in a foreign currency) you are carrying when entering or leaving Singapore. If you fail to do so, you may be fined up to SGD 50,000, or imprisoned up to 3 years, or to both. There is no restriction to carry any amount of CBNI. To declare, complete Form NP 727 and submit it at the Red Channel (on arrival), or at the Immigration Counter (at departure).

  3. All arriving travellers are required to declare and pay the duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST) on all dutiable and taxable goods exceeding their duty-free concession and GST relief. For your convenience, do make use the Customs@SG web application to make an advance declaration and tax payment prior to your arrival in Singapore. Please refer to Customs website for more information.
