A few months ago Google launched authorship in search results; This powerful feature proves author's authorship to Google and to readers, and in addition displays the author's picture near the search results.
We have implemented Google Authorship on Articlesbase.com.
Thousands of authors have linked their content to their Google profile. Want to appear like them in search results?
It can be done in 3 simple steps:
- Create a Google+ Profile
- Remember to upload a high quality headshot and fill out some profile information such as interests, etc.
- Link to your Articlesbase content from your Google+ profile
- Click Edit profile (in your Google+ profile)
- Click the Contributor To section on the right (depending on how many photos you have, you may need to scroll to see this section), and then click Add custom link
- Add your Articlesbase profile URL, similar to http://www.articlesbase.com/authors/author-name/1. You can find the link to your ArticlesBase Profile Page under your account on MyHome -> Account Overview -> View Your Public Profile
- If you want, change the visibility of your link, and then click Save.
- Connect your new Google+ profile to your Articlesbase.com account
- Enter your account at Articlesbase.com and click on Manage Authors, Then click "Edit Info" for the penname you wish to use.
- You will need to find your Google+ ID number - it will look similar to https://plus.google.com/u/0/104660118116124484869/posts
- Post only the number on the Google+ ID field and click on submit.
And that's it, we will do the rest!
