The BEST advice I ever got!


Two days ago I wrote to you about my story and it wasn't exactly what you call a pretty one.


Today I want to share with you the best piece of advice I ever received from one of my mentors.


It is a concept that has transformed not only my business but also my life.


"Passion isn't enough to make you RICH"


That isn't the advice but you will see it's importance in a minute.


Now a days I mentor people who ask me for help and put them on the right track.


I see a common trend in every single person that I talk with.


They are hungry, determined and willing to whatever it takes to get to the top but they need GUIDANCE.


So going back to what my mentor showed me...


There are two types of marketers.


Marketer A: he as a big list of email subscribers.


You can find marketer "A" in every major industry people spend money.


He is consistently sending out email promotions for different products.


His only goal is to make money.


He doesn't really care what he promotes or to who he promotes it as long as he makes money.


The word tribe doesn't even resonate with him.


He has to be constantly replacing his subscribers as soon as he hits send because he doesn't deliver any real value.

He doesn't care about value or customers because he's making money with little effort.


Marketer B: He has a much smaller list.


He cares about the people on his email list. (His TRIBE)


He focuses his efforts on figuring out what they want and then he gives it to them.


He sharpens his axe before chopping down the tree.


He's not a "throw shit against the wall and hope something sticks" kind of guy.


He as a long term vision for his business and everything he does is for the benefit of his tribe.


He won't promote anything he can't attach his name to.


He knows that if he burns the trust of his tribe just once it's game over.


People buy from him because they trust him.


He is a person with integrity.


His email list always outperforms Marketer "A" because he has a strong bond with the people on his list.


The advice: You have to become massively valuable to your TRIBE.


Marketer "A" doesn't really have a real business because he always has to be replacing his leads.


He won't have a business 5 years from now and his income stream can dry up any time.


He is making a lot of money but it's not a smart business strategy.


People don't trust him and his name will eventually be tarnished by burning people's trust.


Marketer B is building a REAL business.


He is creating long term customers that will buy from him over and over again.


As long as he continues to add value to their lives he will never struggle for money.


Now if you are thinking "Esteban, I have no skills and I'm not very valuable".


Neither did I.


Here's the kicker!


You don't have to like what you're doing, but you must do what you know is necessary.


Some of the most successful people didn't like learning are the skills to become most valuable to their tribe.


BUT


They know that if you want to help people and stand out from the crowd it requires to do things normal people don't do.


For example, when I first started shooting videos, it made me really uncomfortable.


Once I realized people actually enjoyed my videos and got value from them I started loving them.


Funny how this works huh?


Once you start the habit of doing something it's uncomfortable.


The more you do something the easier and more fun it becomes to do it.


So here's my best advice for you my friend:


Start putting in the effort to learn some of the skills below.


Regardless if you're in network marketing, fitness or any other niche you need to become valuable to people if you plan on being in business right now or five years from now.


The skills you can learn are:


- Email list building

- Traffic generation

- Email marketing

- Content creation


Those are the for most valuable skills you can learn for internet marketing.


People who invest in their education and spend their time learning and applying are those who I am willing to bet money on.


It's pretty simple...


If you want to become successful you must become valuable to other people.


Money is simply an exchange of value.


I don't care what the Guru's told you.


All the hacks, tricks and secret loopholes in the internet can't replace adding value to someone else.


When you give value it's like the person charging up their credit card.


You're the creditor and at some point that person will feel the need to pay back their debt to you.


Maybe not right now or the next month.


It could be in six months or one year from you.


So the lesson today is to learn skills in order to become valuable to others.


This will allow you to create the lifestyle you want.


Be prepared because you won't learn this overnight but if you stay consistent you will become an expert when you less expect it.


I'm still learning and will be a student forever.


Success isn't a push button deal, it requires time, effort and consistency.


The more effort you put in the more results you will get.

I wish I knew this when I got started online...


Hey Esteban here,


Today I want to share my personal story with you and give you a very valuable lesson you'll be able to benefit from.


Most people think I'm gifted or have some special skill that allows me to have the results I have.


This lesson will help you build your business faster and avoid all the costly that will save you hours and dollars.


But first, we must go back to the start.


I want you to see what you may be going through right now, I did as well.


In my case, I started as a college student without much money or business education.


So building a business wasn't what I was the most qualified at all.


I just had the desire to do it because I wanted freedom.


I originally got started by searching on Google: "How to make money online?".


After researching for months I found a guy who I knew was legit and invested into his business opportunity a couple of thousands dollars.


For me this was something huge!


I had never spent $2k on a product and much less on an information product.


After spending this on this business opportunity I still had no idea on how to generate leads despite the training I had bought.


So I went and bought more courses on lead generation with different traffic sources such as Facebook, Bing and YouTube.


Guess what?


I never actually managed to generate more than 20 leads a day consistently!


My best day was around 20 with forum marketing but it wasn't consistent at all.


I remember it like it was yesterday.


I got excited that that if I kept like that I was going to generate 600 leads a month and after one year I was going to have a list of more than 7000 people.


This meant I was going to have a full time business on my hands, in fact I was going to be making six figures!


But this method stopped working and I was back to zero.


I said, screw this.


So I started doing a free marketing method and started making my first sales by talking to people on Facebook.


I remember the day I made my first commission online.


It was a $120 hosting commission I sold via Facebook messenger.


Now I realize it's true when people say that the first sale is the hardest.


The deal was that I told people if they bought web hosting through my affiliate link I was going to give them a premium theme (from a theme package I had bought in the past) and build the blog for them.


I had never built a blog but I knew the time to figure it out was when I had already made a sale.


Lesson #1: Get started now


You see, I had absolutely no clue how to build a blog or use Wordpress so it was time to learn.


I spent the next days watching videos on YouTube and asking people in groups about the things I didn't understand.


Plus the theme the person picked was very complicated.


After taking action and getting my feet wet, it made me realize that "money is simply an exchange of value".


If I could make a sale I knew I could make more!


Most people are always getting ready to get ready, but you will never be truly ready.


You have to take imperfect action and get started in order to see results.


Want to hear something funny?


The guy that made me my first sale knew it was my first sale.


But he knew I was hungry so he game me the opportunity.


Fast forward to today I am still in contact with this guy and now I am helping him with the marketing side of his business.


He gave me an opportunity when I needed it so now it's time for me to give back.


I could have sat around all day to learn the skills required to setup a blog but I decided to take action and figure things out along the way.


This is the key to getting results in business, to jump out of the plane and figure out how to open the parachute along the way.


If you never jump you will never figure out how to open it (or succeed).


Lesson #2: A determined person can't be stopped


After all of this hustle, I started making more commissions and eventually hit my first $500 month.


This was crazy because now I knew I had a proven formula to make money and I could just repeat the process and make more money.


It was the first time I made money consistently online.


If you keep taking action on a daily basis on money-making activities you are going to eventually hit a home run and succeed.


You need to be mentally prepared that it's going to be tough but eventually you will get whatever you want as long as you keep pushing.


Lesson #3: Deliver value consistently


Tomorrow I'm going to share with you how to do this effectively which will allow you to create the lifestyle you desire.


It's very important that you understand the concept of delivering value.


Money is simply an exchange of value and the more value you give to more people that more money you are going to make.


It's pretty simple huh?


This is the reason why you need to constantly invest in yourself.


The more you invest in yourself, the more value you can deliver therefore the more money you can make.


People who don't make money are simply people who don't deliver value to others.


Lesson 4: Invest in yourself


Business is an investment and the more you invest in yourself the more results you will get.


Once I started learning from people who had the results I want was when I started to get better results myself.


I learned how to position products, how to speak to my audience, how to generate 100+ leads a day and deliver value.


What changed everything for me was learning from mentors who had the results I wanted.


Now, if you still haven't figured out the main lesson I wanted to teach you today is that you need a mentor.


"You don't know what you don't know."

[Part 4] Is Info Mktg'n unpredictable?


Absolutely not!


Info marketing has a very predictable
outcome when you know how to do
it the right way.


When you go into the battlefield (email just to email a promotion)
without any real attack plan then
you will get mediocre results AT BEST.


I'm going to share you with my step
by step process today, but …….


Do you notice how after you read some
of my emails you have this weird feeling
that leaves you wanting more?


It makes you wonder what's coming next?


See one of the responses from people replying:

Does it kind of remind you of watching a
good TV show like Son's of Anarchy
and you are thinking to yourself…


"Are they going to kill Clay or let him live?"


This isn't by accident, I write the emails
so they leave you wanting more.


When you write emails for your TRIBE
they look forward to your next ones.



I let people into my life, I let them see my
family, what I'm about, what's going on on
a daily basis and I share tips that will help
them get results in advance.


You can do this too and I will show you how
simple it is.


I'm going to teach you how I setup my emails
to reel people but first I need to show you how
to structure your "irresistible offer".


Without the irresistible offer you are
leaving most of the money on the table.


This process can be applied in any niche
and be used for your own offers or affiliate
products.


I will TRY to keep this email shorter and
simplify things as much as possible.


This is the very difference between succeeding
with a small list or failing like most marketers.


Your competition is lazy and doesn't care about
their customers enough to do these extra steps.


If you apply the same process I've been teaching
you over the last emails they won't know what hit them ;)


How to do email promotions that convert:


Step 1: Send an email as soon as the product goes up for sale.


What you want to create with this is an initial
buzz so that people become interested in it.


However don't over do it so that people don't
feel like you're trying to put the offer down their throat.


Step 2: Offer a bonus for getting the product from you.


Never sell the product, sell the bonus offer.



The rest of the marketers out there are
already selling the offer for you.


You have to point that the product is great
but you have to tell then why the bonus will
make them get better results with it.


You need to make the bonus a product
that goes in line with the offer.



For example: if you are promoting an affiliate
offer then you can compliment it with a traffic
training as a bonus.

Or…


If you are promoting a weight loss program you can
compliment it with a weight loss shake recipe ebook.


They need both of the pieces you are promoting
in order for the puzzle to be complete.


Finally, the bonus needs to be limited by time
and by the amount of people who can get it.


No BS here, if it's limited make it limited.


Don't ever go back on your word because
if you do people will never treat you seriously.


I will tell you the importance of this later.


Does this make sense?


If you're freaking out thinking: "Esteban,
I don't know how to create a product".


I will also cover this in a future email.


Now stick with me ;)


Save these emails and you
will thank me later.


Step 3: Call out the obvious.


People are programmed to distinguish
BS from quality a mile away.


When someone sends us to a sales page
we tend to be skeptical by nature.


You absolutely must call out the obvious
if you want someone to buy from you.


When marketers try to beat around the bush
and not say things straight to the point people
tell to themselves:


Do you think I'm freaking stupid?


When you call out the obvious you
address their biggest concerns and
therefore they drop their guard.


Once they do this they are much
more likely to listen and buy from you.


Do you remember how in yesterday's email
I mentioned how important market research was?


This is why!



If you already know this info you
can look at any product you are
promoting and you will know what
objections people will have.


Step 4:
You endorse the product and seller.


Then you build your tribe the people in
that tribe look to you as their trusted advisor.


They expect you to only recommend products
that will help them improve their life.


So when promoting a product it's super important
that you explain to them why this is a good product
and why the person who created it is credible.


Why should they trust this person or product?


Think right now to yourself.


Do you think this when you want to buy something?


You absolutely do!



Make sure that you always explain
the benefits of why this product or
person is better than other options
in the marketplace.


Step 5: Remind them of the bonus
and the deadline.


Most of the people in this industry promote
for 1-2 days max and give up because they
don't see the results they expected.


Your biggest sales come at the end of the promotion.


So you must keep emailing for several days
to build up the buzz and get people interested
in purchasing the product.


"Everyone likes to think about it"


Remember how I mentioned that you had to
limit the time and number of people who get it?


No one likes to lose out!



It's super important that you're ethical and
stick to your word and shutting down the
bonus once the promotion is over.


If you say it's over in 3 days and then
promote the same deal the next week
the people who bought from you will
be upset and won't trust you again.


Step 6: Go hard on the last day.


The last day is the most profitable one.


Email early and let them know it's the
last day to get the product and your bonus.


Remind them why they need this product

Remind them of your bonus and that you
are putting it down tonight when the cart closes.


Email in the evening to remind them
there are only 6 hours left.


Email again about 1-2 hours before
the cart closes. (lots of late buyers)


Step 7: Back to delivering value,


It's important that after you do a
promotion that you go back into
delivering lots of value.


Why would someone continue to open
your emails if you try to sell to them
every single day?


It's annoying and fi they don't get any value
from you, they can go find a better option.


You can sell every day but you better bring
enough value like you life depended on it.


Make sure to sequence your promotions
so you have 80% of value and 20% of selling.


Bonus tip: if the offer is evergreen and people
can buy it anytime you need to create a bonus
sequence like I outlined.


You don't offer the bonus as forever.


I've tested leaving the bonus open and only
offering a limited time bonus and less people
buy when you offer the bonus anytime they
want it.


This isn't unethical or mean, it's marketing.


As humans we will always think about
something if we have the option.


Most of the time if we have the time to
think about something we will forget
because we have so much going on
in our personal lives.


If you know the product will help them
achieve their desired result, the it's
your DUTY to sell make them BUY IT.


Selling is only evil when the person is evil ;)
