Hello, Pokémon Trainer JolyyRooger         We have some exciting updates for you. We've missed you! We hope you'll join us again for all the fun.         NEW POKÉMON ARE COMING!       Professor Willow has just discovered Pichu and Togepi hatching from Eggs. These Pokémon and others, which will be arriving very soon, were originally discovered in the Johto region in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver games. Time to get outside, start moving, and hatch some Eggs! Watch the video of Pichu and Togepi here.         DITTO DISCOVERED       We are happy to report that the elusive Ditto was discovered! Ditto is a unique Pokémon that can transform itself into other Pokémon. Be sure to keep an eye out, because you might catch a Pokémon that reveals itself to be Ditto in disguise. Pokémon Trainers have collectively walked more than 8.7 billion kilometers! That's more than 200,000 trips around Earth! It would take a commercial jetliner more than 1,000 years to cover the same distance. You can imagine that all of that walking added up to a lot of Pokémon being caught: more than 88 billion, in fact. That's roughly 533 million Pokémon per day!           HOW IT ALL STARTED       Since Pokémon GO launched last summer, Pokémon Trainers around the world have joined their family and friends to get outside, explore, and have a blast playing Pokémon GO.
